Despite the pandemic preventing Warminster Brass Band from rehearsing or performing this year, we have still helped to mark Remembrance Day this year.

Mike Nunn performed the Last Post and Reveille at a socially distanced event in Dilton Marsh, which was livestreamed on their Facebook page.

Mike has carried out this engagement for over 10 years in Dilton Marsh. He usually performs on bugle, but chose to play the cornet this year as we have had less time playing and cornet is a little easier.

Helen Thornton played the Last Post at Wylye Valley School, where she teaches, as she does every Armistice Day and ANZAC Day.

Members of Warminster Brass Band have also played at Remembrance events at the Warminster Garrison and in Steeple Ashton in previous years. If you are looking for someone to perform the Last Post at your Remembrance event in 2021, please get in touch.
